Amrop Azerbaijan Plants 67 Trees in Memory of Passengers of Azerbaijan Airlines Baku-Grozny Flight Crash

Baku, Azerbaijan – 31.12.2024 – In a gesture of remembrance and global solidarity, Amrop Azerbaijan has announced the planting of 67 trees in memory of the passengers of the Azerbaijan Airlines Baku-Grozny flight(J2-8243), which tragically crashed on December 25, 2024. The trees will be planted through the Karabakh Revival Fund’s tree-planting initiative, symbolizing hope, resilience and renewal for those affected by this unfortunate incident.

While the tragic crash occurred in Kazakhstan, this flight holds a special place in the hearts of Azerbaijani people as it was operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, the national carrier. Planting these trees in Azerbaijan reflects our commitment to honoring those lost in a way that underscores solidarity, unity and the enduring bond shared by the passengers, their families and our nation. This initiative coincides with the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis, marked on December 31, underscoring themes of inclusivity and shared humanity. This effort symbolizes a commitment to unity, respect and environmental responsibility.
