Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Keio University. Joined Kawasaki Steel Corporation (now JFE Steel) and gained experience in production management at a steel plant, after which he was in charge of sales to the automobile industry for 15 years. While working as a sales manager at aluminum manufacturer UACJ, he was involved in building and operating a cross-departmental organization, including the manufacturing and research and development departments.

He joined Amrop Jomon Associates in order to become a bridge between idealistic companies and management talent.
